Aaron Gary Hartman, 24, of Pennock, died Tuesday afternoon, October 3, near Renville from injures received in a motor vehicle accident The service will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Willmar. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Hector. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. with parish prayers at 7 p.m.on Friday, October 6, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Aaron was born on March 8, 1982, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the son of Gary and Cynthia (Moen) Hartman. He grew up in the Hector community and graduated from Hector High School in 2000. He attended Minnesota West Community College in Worthington and worked for Coca Cola Bottling Company. Since 2004, Aaron has been employed with Duininck Brothers Concrete Products. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Aaron enjoyed being a handyman, playing softball, boating and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Gary (and Patty Kluver) Hartman of Willmar; one brother, Adam Hartman of Willmar; one stepbrother, Casey Kluver of Willmar and a step sister, Nikki Kluver of Minneapolis. Also surviving is his girlfriend, Veronica Collins of Pennock and his paternal grandmother, Adeline Hartman of West Concord, besides other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia in 1997; and his grandparents, Orgene and Marge Moen and Joseph Hartman.
