Andres Navarro

Andres Navarro, age 37, of Willmar, passed away Sunday, January 29, at the St. Cloud Hospital following an extended illness.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 3, at the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  www.petersonbrothers.com

Andres (Andrew, Dru) Navarro was born December 1, 1985, to Gloria and Alejandro Navarro in Plainview, Texas.  There he spent a few years of his childhood playing with his siblings.  Eventually he moved to Raymond, Minnesota.  Andrew attended school at MACCRAY where he met his soon to be wife at 13.  Andrew moved to Willmar where he began working as a chef and became incredible at it (when it wasn't burnt).  He had his daughter Kailie in 2006, and his son Andres was born in 2011.  He married Jessica in May of 2015.  For years he continued to cook until he finally found a job that brought him outside.  He was excited for the change. 

Andrew enjoyed spending his time listening to music, especially chopped and screwed, the louder the better bumping his baby with SPM.  He liked cooking new things, having bonfires with the family, going for walks and loved family movie nights.  He had an amazing but different sense of humor and a smile that would light up a room.

Andrew passed away at the St. Cloud Hospital on Sunday, January 29, in the arms of his wife, Jessica and sister, Aurora.

He is survived by his wife Jessica his children, Kailie and Andrew.  His father, Alejandro Navarro his parents in law, James and Jerry Nelson, siblings and nieces and nephews, Alex and Shannon (baby Alex, Dax, Nana) Aurora and Michael (Gabi, Mahayla) Albert (Saoirse) Andrea and Kyle.  Brother-in-law, Jeremiah and Cozy (Elaina, Kevin) many uncles and aunts, and even more cousins.  He is also survived by every person who has ever been in his life, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Gloria Navarro, his homie captain, uncles and aunts and grandparents, and many friends.
