Ann Christensen, 79, of Spicer, died on Saturday, October 8, following an illness at her home.
As requested by Ann, there will not be a funeral service. There will be a private burial service on Saturday, October 15, for her family. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Green Lake Funeral Home in Spicer.
Ann experienced a diversity of occupations and loved them all.
Ann touched many people throughout her life in so many positive ways. Her love of cooking and entertaining always brought smiles and good times to many special occasions which her family and friends will never forget.
Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Everyone that knew Ann loved her giving and caring ways. She had the ability to always make you feel very special to her.
Because of her loved of animals, Ann requested that memorials be given to the Kandiyohi County Humane Society.
She is survived by her daughters: Jody Fischer (and Mark Wermerskirchen) of Spicer and Barb Wohnoutka (and Bob Bucko) of Kandiyohi; four grandchildren: Noah (and Kaye), Christy (and Scott), Ian (and Jenna), and Amber; and three great-grandchildren: Shaun, Liam, and Ryder.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Wesley; and a son: Dale.
