Ann Moudry

Ann L. Moudry, age 63, of Kandiyohi, died unexpectedly Saturday evening, February 1, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, February 6, at Church of Our Lady of Manannah in Manannah, MN. The interment will be in the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery north of Kandiyohi. Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Wednesday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar and at the church one hour prior to the service. There will be a Parish Prayer service at the funeral home Wednesday at 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be directed to the Rice Cardiac Rehab Center at 502 2nd Street SW, Willmar.

Ann Louise (Burgmeier) Moudry was born on April 10, 1950, in St. Cloud, Minnesota, the daughter of Rita "Peg" (Franks) and William Thomas Burgmeier. She grew up on the family farm south of Kandiyohi, attended country school and graduated from Willmar High School. On June 8, 1973 she was married to Douglas Eugene Moudry and they made their home in Kandiyohi. She was a dedicated nurse and was employed for many years by Affiliated Community Medical Center and Family Practice Medical Center in Willmar. Ann was known for her great sense of humor and her devotion to her grandchildren. She was also an avid reader, talented gardener and member of the Civil Air Patrol.

She is survived by her husband, Doug of Kandiyohi, one daughter, Danielle Carlson of Kandiyohi, one son, Nathan (and Shawn) Moudry of Farmington and five grandchildren; Conor, Claire, Colleen, Ethan and Addison. Also surviving are her siblings, Tom Burgmeier of Loveland, Colorado, Catherine Moudry of Kandiyohi, Stephen (and Betty) Burgmeier of Lockridge, Iowa, Chris (and Vicki) Burgmeier of Hall, Montana, Patrick Burgmeier of Willmar, Michael Burgmeier of Lockridge, Iowa, Mark Burgmeier of Farmington, John Gregory (and Theresa) Burgmeier of Atwater, Beth (and Ernest) van Gulijk of New London and Barbara Burgmeier of Willmar.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Karl Burgmeier.
