Annabelle M. Imsdahl, 81, of New London, died Monday, October 24, at the St. Cloud Hospital following a short illness.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Friday, October 28, at Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer with Rev. Simon Fensom officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Brooten. Visitation will be 5-8 P.M. Thursday, October 27, at Peterson Brothers Green Lake Funeral Home in Spicer and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Annabelle was born February 1, 1930, near Brooten, Minnesota, the daughter of Nels and Laura (Severide) Jensen. She grew up in the Brooten community, was baptized at Crow Lake Lutheran Church, confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church and graduated from Brooten High School. On April 21, 1951, she married Robert M. Imsdahl at Trinity Lutheran Church. For four years, Annabelle was employed by the Game and Fish Department with the State of Minnesota. Annabelle and Robert lived in St. Paul for eight years and in Ellsworth, Minnesota for eight years. In April 1971, they moved to the New London-Spicer area. For over ten years, Annabelle was employed as the church secretary at Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer. She was active in various church and Green Lake Bible Camp activities. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed dancing, ceramics, knitting and crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Robert of New London; three children, Trudi Wall, Tamara Kluver (and Brad Hanke), and Kevin (and Debbie) Imsdahl, all of Alexandria; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rhoda Moe of Spicer and Judy (and Don) Madsen of New Brighton; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and two sisters in infancy.
