Annette Meyer

Annette D. Meyer, age 53, of rural Spicer, died Monday evening, December 21, at her home on George Lake.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 28, at Calvary Lutheran Church with Rev. Timothy Larson officiating. Interment will be at Cloverleaf Cemetery in Willmar. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 27, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar and one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials to the Rice Hospice Program are preferred, 301 Becker Ave SW, Willmar, MN 56201

Annette was born October 27, 1956, in Benson, Minnesota, to Ralph and Doris (Heimdahl) Fragodt. She was baptized and confirmed at West Bank Lutheran Church in Danvers. She graduated from Benson High School in 1974 and attended the Willmar Vo-Tech College. She married Daniel Meyer on November 19, 1977 and they made their home in Willmar. She worked as a Human Services Technician at the Willmar Regional Treatment Center for over 35 years. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and the Willmar Does and was active in the Willmar community. She enjoyed crafts, spending summers on George Lake and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Annette also enjoyed volunteering her time and talents in the community and helping those in need.

She is survived by her husband: Daniel; a son: Joseph (and Traci) Meyer of New Richmond, Wisconsin; a daughter: Lacy Meyer of Willmar, and seven grandchildren: Cayden, Kylie & Carter Meyer, Kaylee Jo & Logan Schroeder and Meko & Paul Gonzales. Also surviving are four brothers: Roger (and Jean) Fragodt of Benson, Randy (and Connie) Fragodt of Milan, James (and Sue) Fragodt of Benson and Jerome (and Kelly) Fragodt of Montevideo; two sisters: Ardis (and Paul) Larson of Montevideo and Renae (and Dave) Majeski of Stillwater, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
