Arnold M. Norheim, age 65, of Willmar, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, February 13, at his home.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, at the Calvary Lutheran Church Chapel in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.
Arnold Milton Norheim was born on November 25, 1942, to Arne and Mildred (Nelson) Norheim in Willmar, Minnesota. He grew up and attended school in Willmar, graduating from Willmar High School. He enlisted in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1966. He worked servicing railroad equipment and later a welder in the shipyards for Lockheed in the Seattle, Washington area. After moving back to Willmar, he worked in machine manufacturing. He was a member of the VFW, The American Legion, and the Eagles. He enjoyed restoring cars and trucks as well as snowmobile racing and Jeep Four-Wheeling.
Arnold is survived by his daughter Janna Keesler; two granddaughters, Kristen and Laci; two step-sons, Jerry and Kenny Bradley; a step-daughter, Debbi Aaker, all of Enumclaw, Washington; a sister, Beverly (and Robert) Maxwell and two nephews, Scott and Paul Maxwell of Sioux Falls, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents.
