Audrey M. Bergum, 77, of Willmar, died Wednesday, March 10, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
Memorial services will be held at 2 P.M., Sunday, March 14th at the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery in Kerkhoven.
Audrey was born May 5, 1932, in rural Kerkhoven, Minnesota, to Elmer and Mildred (Johanson) Finstrom. She grew up in rural Kerkhoven and later moved with her family to Kandiyohi. She attended school in Kerkhoven and Willmar. On January 21, 1948, she married Howard Bergum. Audrey lived in Eagle Lake, Dilworth, Diamond Lake, and Atwater, Minnesota; Havre, Montana; and Sioux City, Iowa; and for the last 20 years in Willmar. She worked as a foreman at Willmar Cookie Company for several years. She had a strong faith in the Lord her whole life. Audrey died Wednesday, March 10, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. She attained the age of 77 years 10 months and five days.
She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (and Dennis) Bateman of Clearwater, Florida; a daughter-in-law, Carol Hanson of Duluth; two grandchildren; two brothers, Marvin (and Geraldine) Finstrom of Lester Prairie and Russell "Red" Finstrom of Kerkhoven; three sisters, Dorothy Putnam of St. Paul, Marlys Bryan of Minneapolis and Judy (and Marlin) Hagen of New Hope; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Larry in 1995; three brothers, Ronald, Leslie and Norman; and two sisters, Carolyn and Paulette.
