Bart Koenig, 60, of Willmar, died Sunday morning, October 7, at the Golden Valley Rehabiliation and Care Center.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 11, at the First Covenant Church Chapel in Willmar.
Bart Allen Koenig was born August 6, 1952, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Roger and Mary (Ghio) Koenig. He grew up in Sioux Falls and later moved to California in the 1970s. He served in the US Navy during the VietNam War. He later moved to Willmar and worked in shipping at Jennie-O for several years.
He is survived by three children: John Kimble (and Katelyn Wagner), Jerremiah Koenig and Summer Koenig; seven grandchildren; and a brother: Bill Rogers.
