Bruce Dalewas born in Willmar, MN and at the age of three, he moved to a farm between Litchfield and Grove City called the Acton Creamery. His childhood was filled with typical experiences that included farm chores, country school, and sibling shenanigans. Moving from the farm into Litchfield in 1965, he made many new friends. After high school, he worked at various jobs for a while until he was diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic. His world changed. He had a creative mind and a passion for leather tooling and painting. He was loved and cared for by many, living the last of his years in Litchfield and Willmar. He is now with his lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

He leaves to cherish in his memory his mother, Marde (Marvin) Kinzler, Willmar, MN, sisters Nancy Anderberg, Mounds View, MN and Elaine Skibicki Hurley, NY, brother, Greg (Cathy) Dale, Granger, IN. And many nieces and nephews.

I know your life
On earth was troubled
And only you could know the pain.
You weren't afraid to face the devil,
You were no stranger to the rain.
Go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done.
Go to heaven a-shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son.
Oh, how we cried the day you left us
We gathered round your grave to grieve.
I wish I could see the angels faces
When they hear your sweet voice sing.
Go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done.
Go to heaven a-shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son.
