Bruce Arnold Nielsen

Bruce A. Nielsen, age 73, of Atwater, passed away Tuesday, December 27, at CentraCare Rice Therapy Suites in Willmar.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Arrangements are entrusted to Peterson Brothers Funeral Home.  www.petesonbrothers.com

Bruce Arnold Nielsen was born on May 8, 1949, in Willmar, Minnesota, the son of Arnold and Nathalie (Jackson) Nielsen.  He grew up and received his education in Willmar.  Bruce worked in the tree trimming and demo construction business prior to becoming a OTR truck driver.  He enjoyed music, writing songs, playing guitar and caring for his ranch on Diamond Lake.

He is survived by four siblings, Ronald Nielsen of Faribault, Patty (and Bill) Fath of Alexandria, Reggie (and Tina) Nielsen of Omaha, NE., and Cal (and Joy) Nielsen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dannie.
