Carol Reznecheck

Carol L. Reznecheck, age 66, of Grove City, passed away Monday evening, Feb. 1, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7, at the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  www.petersonbrothers.com

Carol Lorraine Reznecheck was born on August 5, 1954, in St. Cloud, Minnesota, the daughter of Alvin and Florence (Teske) Grunewald.  She grew up in South Haven, graduated from Annandale High School in 1972 and from the Willmar Vo-Tech Nursing Program in 1974.  On September 28, 1974, Carol was married to Rick Reznecheck.  They made their home in Willmar and were later divorced.  On March 17, 2003, Carol was married to Werner Nurmi and they made their home in Grove City.  Carol worked as a LPN at the Willmar Regional Treatment Center and Bethesda Nursing Home, as a Public Health Nurse for Kandiyohi County and as a LPN at the Bethany Nursing Home in Litchfield.  She loved to bake and enjoyed attending country music concerts and traveling to Colorado to visit her family.  Her most precious thing to her was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Werner of Grove City; two children, Tanya (and Jeremy) Dahlseid of Eagle, CO., and Chris (and Jeanne) Reznecheck of Willmar; three granddaughters, Emma Carol Reznecheck, Elise Lee Reznecheck and Annabella Lee Dahlseid.  Also surviving is one sister, Diane Grunewald of St. Cloud; one brother, David (and Martha) Grunewald of South Haven and her grandpuppys, Lilly and Luna.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
