Christopher Martinez

Christopher Martinez, age 26, of Roseland, died Friday evening, May 19, at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Visitation for Christopher will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 25, with a 5:30 p.m. prayer service and time of sharing at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar, www.petersonbrothers.com.

Christopher Lee Martinez was born February 26, 1991, in Willmar, Minnesota, the son of Edward and Rosemary (Estrada) Martinez. He grew up in Roseland and attended school at Renville County West and later MACCRAY, graduating in 2009. Christopher worked for Divine House, Jennie-O, and SuperAmerica in Willmar and had recently return to Jennie-O. He enjoyed Japanese anime, computers, video games, and making people laugh. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.

Christopher is survived by his parents: Rosemary and Phillip Anderson of Roseland, and Edward Martinez of Wisconsin; four sisters: Victoria (and Joseph) Driscoll of Paynesville, Julianna Martinez of Wisconsin, Ashley Anderson of St. Cloud, and Deserae Anderson of Cosmos; a brother, Edward Martinez, Jr. of Wisconsin; his nieces and nephews: Dusty, Trinity, Phillip, Camilla, Marcos, Dominick, Jazmine, Destini, and Mackenzie; his best friends: Cord Roberts, Reginald Dunn, Jennifer Allen, and Tim Harrison; and other relatives and friends.
