Craig R. Jones, 64, of Willmar, died Friday, June 10, at his home in Willmar following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, at First Baptist Church in Willmar. Burial will be at Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.
Craig Robert Jones was born August 26, 1946, in Willmar to Robert and Vivian (Erickson) Jones. He grew up in Kandiyohi and moved to Willmar with his mother in 1989. He was currently living in a group home in Willmar.
Throughout his live, Craig participated in a wide range of activities such as Special Olympics, horseshoes and bowling. He was an avid sports fan. He worked at Kandi-Works DAC for many years.
He is survived by his siblings: Janet Jones of San Francisco, California, Barry (and Ann) Jones of Roseville, and David (Diane) Jones of Willmar; his nieces and nephews; Travis Jones (and his fiance Alicia Kampsen), Tina (Jones) Johnson (and Todd), Jacob Jones, and Megan Jones, besides other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
