Daniel "Danny" Erasmo Garza Sr.

Daniel "Danny" Erasmo Garza Sr., age 47, formerly of Willmar, passed away unexpectedly in San Jose, California.  A private family service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to Peterson Brothers Funeral Home.  www.petersonbrothers.com

Danny was born on September 22, 1976, in Weslaco, Texas.  He grew up and received his education in Willmar.  During his younger years, Danny worked as a chef at Jackpot Junction Casino in Morton.

Danny loved music, nature, life and most of all his family.  He had a great sense of humor and a heart of gold.  He was always willing to help anyone in a time of need.  He will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his two children, Daniel Erasmo Garza Jr. and Odessa Danielle Garza, and their mother, Tessa Patino; and six grandchildren, Holly, Ayessa, Deioni, Gianni, Aribella and Blu.  Also surviving is Danny's mother, Ilda Paredes; and his three siblings, Normalinda Garza-Ramirez, Jerry Garza and Jose Quintero, besides other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Gianna Garza and his grandparents.
