Diana Friehl

Diana L. Friehl, age 67, of Willmar, died Sunday morning, September 14, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 19, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. Interment will be at Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church. www.petersonbrothers.com
Diana Lee Friehl was born on August 21, 1947, in Willmar, Minnesota, the daughter of Carlton and Jeanette (Wright) Ferguson. She grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School in 1965. In 1967, Diana was married to Roy R. Friehl and they made their home in Willmar. Diana was employed for many years as a clerk for the Torvik, Heinz, Manley and Mills Automotive dealerships. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. Diana enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and also enjoyed following her children's and grandchildren's sports activities and hobbies.
She is survived by her three sons, Roy Jr. (and Jessica) Friehl of Albert Lea, Kevin (and Amber) Friehl of Sartell and Korey (and Chandra) Friehl of Anoka and nine grandchildren. Also surviving is her mother, Jeanette Hallbom of Mesa, AZ.; one sister, Carol (and Paul) Aasen of Spicer and one sister-in-law, Gloria Ferguson of Willmar, besides other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Roy in 1997; and one brother, Rick Ferguson.
