Diane Marie Lindner, age 70, of Spicer, died Tuesday, October 18, at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, at the Spicer City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Diabetes Association are preferred.
Diane Marie Lindner was born in Willmar, Minnesota, the daughter of George F. and Eleanor J. (Otterness) Lindner. She grew up and received her education in the Willmar, New London/Spicer and Atwater communities. In 1962, Diane was married to William Maier. They lived in Atwater, Spicer and Minneapolis and later divorced. In the mid 1970's, Diane was married to Jim Anderson. They lived in Richfield and later divorced. In 2013, Diane returned to the Spicer community. Diane was employed for many years as a retail clerk in various retail stores. Her hobbies included crafting, gardening and cooking.
She is survived by her son, Scott (and Mary) Maier of Independence; two brothers, Darrell (and Sandi) Lindner of Kandiyohi and Dirk (and Micki) Lindner of St. Cloud; two sisters, Donna Miller (and Dale Ryks) of Atwater and Debbie (and Jim) Hanson of Pelican Rapids; and special friend, Kevin Peterson of Spicer, besides other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Tamara Nelson in 2005; and two brothers, David and Doug Lindner.
