Donna Schneider

Donna Marie Schneider, age 71, of Willmar, died Sunday morning, September 9, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar following an extended illness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 12, at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. with 5 p.m. parish prayers Tuesday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Donna was born January 28, 1936, in Willmar, the daughter of Ole and Minda (Gustafson) Paulsness. She grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School in 1954. On January 7, 1956, she married James C. Schneider and they made their home in Willmar. Donna was employed at S & L clothing in Willmar and, for over 35 years, as the secretary and bookkeeper for Scneider Sanitation Service. She was a member of the Church of St. Mary. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, James; three children, Brenda (Ronald) DuHoux of Kandiyohi, Tom (and Lori) Schneider of Pennock, and Robb (and Robin) Schneider of Redwood Falls; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Clariss Elliott of Willmar; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
