Emilie W. Moll, age 96, of Atwater, died Monday evening, October 27th, at the Talahi Care Center in St. Cloud.
Services will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, October 30th, at St. John Lutheran Church, north of Atwater, with Rev. Christian Strickland officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements are with the Atwater Funeral Home.
Emilie Wilhelmine Moll was born on March 24, 1912, in Gennessee Township southwest of Atwater, the daughter of Ester (Hanson) and Henry Heining. At the age of seven she moved with her family north of Atwater and she attended St. John Lutheran Church and School. On November 1, 1941 she married Elmer George Moll and they made their home and farmed 4 miles north of Atwater. She lived on the farm until 1978 when she moved into Atwater. In 2005, Emilie moved to the Talahi Care Center in St. Cloud where she lived the last 3 1/2 years. She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church, taught Sunday School for 13 years and was a member of the Ladies Aid.
She is survived by one daughter, Bernice Moll of St. Cloud and one son, William (and Nancy) Moll of Clearwater. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Michael Moll of Becker and Jaclyn Moll of St. Cloud and one brother, Martin (and Wanda) Heining of Columbia Heights, besides other relatives and friends. Emilie was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Elmer in 1958), an infant son and one brother (Arthur Heining in 1970).
