Filimon Estrada, age 70, of Willmar died, Thursday morning, January 13th, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon, with a prayer service at 10 AM on Monday, Jan. 17 at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.
Filimon Estrada was born on November 22, 1940 in Hiera, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the son of Manuel and Vicenta (Avalos) Estrada. He grew up and received his education in Mexico. Filimon worked as a Rancher in Texas for many years before moving to Minnesota in 1990. He lived in Paynesville and Willmar while working at Windy Hill Auto Parts and Golden Plump. Filimon was a hardworking individual. He enjoyed fishing, joking around and playing pool.
He is survived by his three sons, Jose, Ricardo and Erik Estrada, all of Hebbronville, Texas; two grandchildren, Jalissa and Jose Jr. Estrada and three siblings, Melecio, Katalina and Santos Estrada, all of Mexico, besides other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
