Fredie "Butch" Kuperus, age 76, of Willmar, died Thursday, November 21, at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis following a stroke.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, May 10, at Union Cemetery in Brooten.
Fredie John Kuperus was born May 7, 1937 to William and Cora (Covey) Kuperus at their home near Brooten, Minnesota.
He grew up on the family farm near Brooten until he was five and the family moved southeast of Belgrade. Fredie lived there until he was 25, when he moved to Cambridge. He moved to Willmar in 1998.
He is survived by two brothers: George Kuperus and Sam Kuperus; a sister: Jossie Nelson; and two sisters-in-law: Lorraine Kuperus and Fransje Kuperus; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and seven sisters.
