Gary B. Denny, age 60, of Willmar, died unexpectedly Tuesday, March 31, at his home in Willmar from a heart attack.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M., Friday, April 3, at Peterson Brother Funeral Home in Willmar. Other services will be handled by the Wevley Funeral Home in Sebeka, MN (218-837-9455). www.petersonbrothers.com
Gary Blaine Denny was born on May 21, 1954 in Bertha, Minnesota, the son of Joyce Elaine (Roline) and Gerald Lee Denny. He grew up in the Hewitt, Minnesota area where he was baptized at the Methodist Church. Gary received his education in the Hewitt school and graduated from Bertha Hewitt High School in 1972. He moved to Willmar in 1991, worked as a helper at turkey farms for 19 years and since 2008 he has worked at Haug Implement as a shop assistant. Gary enjoyed to deer hunting, fishing, playing bingo and marbles and loved being with his family and friends. Gary will be dearly missed.
He is survived by a special friend, Jane Wagner of Willmar, his parents, Joyce and Gerald Denny of Sebeka and 1 daughter, Tracy (and Dale) Peterson of Braham. Also surviving is 1 grandchild, 3 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters: Sharon (and Jack) Johnson of Delbo and Sandra (and Eugene) Kapphahn of Hewitt.
Gary was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts and uncles.
