Gloria Garcia Navarro, 46, of Willmar, died at her home on Monday, August 29, surrounded by her entire family.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service.
She was born April 10, 1964 in Phoenix, Arizona, to Arturo and Irene Garcia. She traveled around the United States with her father before moving to Willmar in 1990. In 1995, she married Alex Navarro. In 1999, she went to work for Clara City Care Center and Rice Care Center as a CNA. She enjoyed working with her best friend, Becky. Gloria retired in May due to her health. She was hard-working and kind and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Alex Navarro, Sr; three sons, Alex Navarro, Jr. (and Shannon Thompson), Andres Navarro (and Jessica Nelson) and Alberto Navarro; two daughters, Aurora Navarro and Andrea Navarro; four grandchildren; Aryianna Taree Navarro, Alejandro Antonia Navarro III, Gabriella Paz Solorio and Kailai Lynn Navarro; three brothers, Pancho, Antonio and Arturo; and four sisters, Flora, Stella, Leticia and Norma.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
