Ina Peterson

Ina Mae Peterson, 92, of New Hope, formerly of Willmar, died Monday evening, May 7, at North Ridge Care Center in New Hope.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at Vinje Lutheran Church in Willmar. Interment will be at Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Memorials are preferred to Alzheimer's research organizations.

Ina Mae was born August 23, 1919, in Norcross, Minnesota, the daughter of Alfred and Mabel (Westberg) Lund. She grew up in Benson, Minnesota and graduated from Benson High School. On August 14, 1942, she married Reynoir K. Peterson and they made their home in Willmar. Ina Mae was an active member of Vinje Lutheran Church and played in several bridge clubs. She resided the past 5 years in the Twin Cities.

Ina Mae is survived by three children: Doug (and Kellie) Peterson of Greenfield, David (and Nancy) Peterson of Marcell, and Susan (and Ronald) Henke of Plymouth; eight grandchildren: Jenny (and Daniel) Reed, Nathan (and Andrea) Henke, Eric Peterson, Margaret Henke, Jack (and Marie) Peterson, Andrew Henke, Adam (and Jen) Peterson, and Abby (and Wade) Grinager; six great-grandchildren: Taylor, Jonathan, Braeden, Jacob, Grace, and Bode; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Reynoir in 1985; a brother: Alfred Lund; and a sister: Marvis Lysen.
