Irma N. Arnesen, age 98, of Willmar, passed away Saturday morning, March 9, at Bethesda Grand in Willmar.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by the celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 8, at Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer. Interment will be in the Spicer City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Faith Lutheran Church, Green Lake Bible Camp or Safe Avenues in Willmar are preferred. Arrangements are entrusted to the Peterson Brothers Green Lake Funeral Home in Spicer.

Irma Nadine Arnesen was born on July 29, 1925, in Willmar, Minnesota, the daughter of Henry and Lillian (Lindblad) Allinder. She was baptized and confirmed at Svea Lutheran Church and graduated from Willmar High School in 1943. From 1943-1945, Irma was employed as a secretary at the Willmar State Hospital. She then worked in communications for Western Airlines in Pocatello, Idaho. In 1948, Irma returned to the Willmar State Hospital and worked there until 1983, as a payroll clerk, retiring with over 31 years of service. On October 1, 1957, Irma was united in marriage to Rolf T. Arnesen and they made their home in the Spicer community. She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church and volunteered as church secretary for 10 years and secretary of the Green Lake Bible Camp for 3 years.
She is survived by one daughter, JoAnn Brichacek; two grandchildren, Lisa Brichacek of Oakdale and Joel (and Kim) Brichacek of Greenbush; and three grandchildren, Trevor Undeberg, Garrett Undeberg and Spencer Brichacek, besides other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rolf in 2007; one son, David in infancy; one son-in-law, Thomas Brichacek; one sister, Vernice and her parents.
