J. Dennis Bennett, 73, of Willmar, passed away Wednesday, May 22, at his home after a long life of heart problems.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 31, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Dennis was born January 17, 1940, in Bristol, England and was brought to the United States as a young child after the death of his parents. He returned to England for some of his education and to recieve his degrees. He received a Doctorate of Divinity and his Ph. D. Dennis was an ordained minister for over 50 years, loving the Lord and bringing many into the loving arms of Jesus. He will be deeply missed, always loved, and in our daily thoughts.
He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife, Rita "Ree" Bennett; two sons, Dennis (and Shannon) and Wade (and Trudy); his extended family; and close friends, Marie and Brian Baker.
