Jacqueline "Jackie" Luverne Miller, age 68, of Rogers and formerly of Willmar, died on Monday morning, Jan 2, at the Wellstead of Rogers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Jan 7, at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.
Jackie was born January 16, 1943, in Seattle, Washington, the daughter of Anton and Alice (Clements) Wolf. She grew up in Fargo, North Dakota and graduated from Shanley High School in Fargo in 1961. She then attended the St. Cloud Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1963. On July 11, 1964, she married Edward Miller in Detroit Lakes. Jackie worked at the Willmar Regional Treatment Center from 1975 to 2005, retiring as a Supervising Nurse of the Adolescent Treatment Unit.
She was a member of the Church of St. Mary and was a very faithful and spiritual person. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Jackie will be remembered for her quick wit and great sense of humor. She enjoyed playing the piano and reading.
She is survived by her sons: Michael Miller of Haughton, LA, Steven Miller of Minneapolis, Chris (and Maria) Miller of St. Michael, Craig Miller of Minneapolis and Edward Miller, Jr. of Minneapolis; six grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Edward in 2007; and a daughter: Debbie.
