Jane C. Dickman, age 70, of Willmar and formerly of Spicer, passed away Thursday, December 21, at her residence surrounded by family.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. A private graveside service and interment will be held later at Ft. Jane Catherine Dickman was born on March 15, 1953, in Olivia, Minnesota, the daughter of Charles and Marjorie (Johnson) Dickman. She grew up in Hector, graduated from Hector High School in 1971 and attended Gustavus Adolphus College. Over the years, Jane worked as a clerk at Dickman Drug Store in Hector, Pamida in Willmar and CSI in Hector. Jane made her home in the Little Falls and Spicer communities before moving to Willmar in 2015. Jane was well known as a "Cookie Queen". She loved to bake cookies and maintain her home as well as others. Singing was her favorite form of music. She enjoyed attending plays, listening to the Beatles and making bracelets for her family and friends.
She is survived by her three siblings, Mary (and Tom) O'Malley of Spicer, Karl (and Betsy) Dickman of Shoreview and Ann Ploeger of Litchfield; ten nieces and nephews; three great nieces and great nephews, besides other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
