Janet I. Eliason

Janet I. Eliason, age 84 of Willmar, passed away August 26, at Bethesda Grand in Willmar. 

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 3, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Janet was born on November 27, 1939, in Willmar to Irene and Marvin Perkins Sr.  She graduated from Willmar High School with the class of 1958.  She was united in marriage to Merwyn “Murph” Eliason.  Janet was a homemaker much of her life, providing loving care for her family.  In her early years she spent her free time riding horses.  Janet enjoyed gardening and raising alpacas. 

Janet is survived by her children, Michelle Nielson, Shawn (Jan) Nelson, Jason (Reney) Vejtruba; and sister, Kathy (Mike) Ryan, besides other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Marvin; sister, Patricia; son, Ramon; and son-in-law, Roy.
