Janet Leone Hagen, age 75, of Willmar, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday morning, Feb. 16, at her son's residence in Sandstone following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, Febraury 19, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Interment will be at Cloverleaf Memorial Park in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Janet was born April 6, 1935, near Atwater, Minnesota, the daughter of Raymond and Pearl (Norbie) Hopkins. She grew up in Willmar and attended Lincoln Elementary School and Willmar High School. On July 27, 1957, she married Ronald C. Hagen. To their union was born a son, Michael Hagen. Janet's life was spent in service and help to others. On September 27, 1955, she became a Christian. She will be missed by so many.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald; a son, Michael (and Laura) Hagen of Sandstone; four grandchildren, Kelsi, Haili, Michael and Nichole; a brother, Richard (and Claudia) Hopkins of Spicer; three sisters, Betty Manley of Remer, Janell Van Heuveln of Sartell, Cheryl Lukason of Hopkins; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in deathby her parents; two brothers, Delbert Hopkins and Luverne Norbie; several nieces and a nephew.
