Jeffrey "Hawk" Dean Andert

Jeffrey "Hawk" D. Andert, age 57, of Kerkhoven, passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 13, at Bethesda Grand in Willmar.

A celebration of life will be held at from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, at the Sunburg Funeral Home with refreshments following at the Bjork residence.  A private interment will be at the Benson City Cemetery at a later date.    Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home.  www.petersonbrothers.com

Jeff was born on December 21, 1966, in Appleton, Minnesota, the son of Kenneth and Lorraine (Wrobleski) Andert.  He grew up in Benson, Faribault, Willmar and Kerkhoven, graduating from KMS High School in 1984.  Jeff worked for many years as a machinist at Chappel Central prior to being a painter for Scott Lottman.  He was most recently employed at Home Depot in Willmar.  Jeff was an avid NASCAR fan.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing cards, attending area car races, and good times with his many friends.

He is survived by his two brothers, Scott Andert of Savage and Jason Andert of Kerkhoven, several nieces and nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Travis Andert.
