Jeffrey Oas, 57, of New London, died Friday, January 21, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, January 27, at Peterson Brothers Green Lake Funeral Home in Spicer followed by a brief interment service at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at 2:30 P.M. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in Spicer. Memorials are preferred to Special Olympics.
Jeffrey was born October 20, 1953, in Minneapolis to Herbert and Phyllis (Waters) Oas. He lived in Great Falls, MT, Faribault, Burnsville, St. Paul and for the last 5 years at the Deerwood Home in New London. He worked at the Kandi Works Day Activity Center. He loved rock 'n roll music and stuffed animals.
He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Oas of Parsons, KS; a brother, David (and Tammie) Oas of Parsons, KS; a sister, Gretchen Wynegar of Geneva, FL; three nephews and a niece. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert in June 1983.
