Jennifer Johnson

Jennifer L. Johnson, age 60, of Spicer died Monday evening, July 31, at the St. Cloud Hospital in St Cloud, Minnesota.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, August 7, at the Svea Lutheran Church in Svea, Minnesota. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-5 PM Sunday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar and at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday. Jennifer was born on July 19, 1957, in Willmar, Minnesota, the daughter of Harold and Millicent (Forsberg) Johnson. She grew up in the Svea community and was baptized and confirmed in Svea Lutheran Church. Jennifer graduated from Willmar High School. She worked at the Svea Co-op General Store in her high school years. For many years Jennifer worked at Molenaar Plastics and then provided gentle loving care as a CNA at the Willmar Health Care Center. She enjoyed bowling, swimming, playing bingo, coloring and spending time visiting with friends and family. Jennifer always had a special place in her heart for her pets, most recently her cat Sweetie Pie.
She is survived by her mother, Millicent of Willmar, four siblings, Rebecca Johnson of Lake Lillian, Deborah Johnson of Willmar, Barbara (and Wayne) Stomberg of Renville and Douglas (and Teresa) Johnson of Willmar. Also surviving are two nieces, Stephanie (and Justin) Lewis of Sartell and Michelle Stomberg of Sioux Falls, SD., two nephews Matthew and Benjamin Johnson; two great nephews; Jack and Hayden Lewis, besides other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Harold in 2007 and her brother David in 2009.
