Jeremy Jon Tharaldson

On Monday, January 16, 2023, our son, brother, uncle and friend, Jeremy Jon Tharaldson, passed away at the age of 42. 

Jeremy’s memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, at Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Peterson Brothers Green Lake Funeral Home in Spicer.  www.petersonbrothers.com

Born on October 23, 1980, in Willmar, Minnesota, Jeremy graduated from New London Spicer High School in 1999 and became a Wireless Communications technician after graduating from Willmar Technical College.  He worked for the Minneapolis Police department for 13 years and Hennepin Sheriff's Department for another 7 years as Senior IT Specialist.

Jeremy was a kind and generous soul.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was an attentive uncle to his nieces and nephews.  If ever someone was in need, Jeremy was there to help.

He is survived by his parents: Donovan Tharaldson of New London and Beverly Tharaldson of Spicer, his siblings: Mark Powell of Portland, Tiffany Tharaldson Hollenbeck of Maple Valley, WA, and Joseph and Katie Tharaldson of Taylors Falls, MN.  He was and always will be Uncle Jer to his nieces: Anne Marie, Sarah, Chloe, Kamryn and Lorynn and his nephews: Sam and Aymse.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
