John Feldman, age 104, of Willmar, died Monday morning, Dec. 17, at the Rice Care Center in Willmar.
Services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Thursday, December 20, at Willmar Assembly of God Church. The interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Renville. Friends may call from 12:30 P.M. Thursday until time of service at the church. Arrangements are with the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.

John Feldman was born October 29, 1908 on the family farm near Renville, Minnesota, the son of Rena (VanEllen) and Reemt Feldman. He grew up in that area, was baptized at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church north of Renville and received his education in the rural schools. John was active in farming from an early age and he worked for many area farmers and helped who ever needed it. On February 28, 1940, he was married to Elsie Blomquist in Blomkest, Minnesota and they made their home on a farm north of Renville that they bought and raised their two daughters. He was involved with building of the Renville Gospel Tabernacle Church that they attended. He was a hard worker and never complained. After Elsie died in 1965, he continued to farm for a few years. On April 4, 1968, he was married to Trynie Westra at the Assembly of God Church in Willmar and they made their home in Willmar. He worked for the A.S.C.S. planting trees and he also helped his brother-in-law with some carpentry work. Trynie died in 2001 and John has resided at the Rice Care Center in Willmar since June of this year.
He is survived by 2 daughters; Karen Ruiz (and Gerry Klang) of Benson and Darla Ruschen of Renville. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren; Kevin (and Lynda) Ruschen of Alexandria, Denise (and Randy) Revier of Olivia, Elise (and Peter) Kronlokken of Sacred Heart and Kelvin (and Darla) Ruschen of Bird Island, 16 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, 3 brothers; Henry Feldman of Renville, Raymond (and Adelaide) Feldman of Renville and Richard (and Velma) Feldman of Renville and 1 sister, Rena Herrman of Spicer, many nieces and nephews, besides other relatives and friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents, both wives, son-in-law, John Ruschen, 2 grandsons; Rick Ruiz and Dustin Torkelson, 1 brother, Ailt Feldman, 1 sister, Agnes Grussing, 2 sisters-in-law, 2 brothers-in-law and a host of nieces and nephews.
