John D. Moller, age 60, of Milaca, formerly of the Spicer area, died Monday afternoon, November 21, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Brook Park, Minnesota.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 28, at Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer. Interment will be in the Spicer City Cemetery with military honors provided by the Henderson-Lewis American Legion Post 545 of Spicer. Visitation will be 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Peterson Brothers Green Lake Funeral Home in Spicer and will continue one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
John Daniel Moller was born June 12, 1956, in Willmar, Minnesota, the son of Enock C. and Janice E. (Hauser) Moller. He grew up on the family farm near Spicer and received his education in New London-Spicer Schools, graduating in 1974. He continued his education at Willmar Vo-Tech, graduating with an Agribusiness degree in 1976. John entered the Army, served in South Korea and was discharge in 1979. He returned to the Spicer area and went to work for the Minnesota Dairy Herd Improvement Association as a field agent and has been employed with them for 36 years. John enjoyed biking, helping others and was a many gallon blood donor with the Red Cross. He loved being with family and friends, especially if he could get a heated discussion going. He also enjoyed 70's music, reading, current events, being outdoors and following the Twins.
He is survived by special friend, Linda Nelson of Willmar; four brothers, Bruce (and Pat) Moller and their children, Aaron and Hannah of Little Falls; Kevin (and Kelly) Moller of Fairmont and their children, Jenna (and Tony) Smith and Daniel (and Tatia) Moller; Andrew Moller of Eden Prairie; and Robert (and Loree) Moller of Spicer and their children, Christa (and Ben) Pattison and Spencer Moller, besides other relatives and friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents.
