Kevin P. Anderson, age 58 of Spicer and formerly of Willmar, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, June 5, at the St. Cloud Hospital.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 10, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. www.petersonbrothers.com
Kevin Park Anderson was born on March 5, 1961, in Incheon, South Korea. At the age of 9 he was adopted by Elmer “Dwight” and Jeanette (Halvorson) Anderson. He grew up in Pennock and graduated from Willmar High School in 1980. Kevin served briefly in the U.S. Air Force before being employed with Jennie-O Foods for over 16 years. On June 30, 1991, Kevin was married to Susan Jean Madsen. They made their home in Willmar and later moved to a hobby farm in the Spicer area. Kevin began a career in automotive sales at Lundquist Auto in Willmar before being the owner/operator of Car Connection II in Willmar. Kevin's hobbies included martial arts, weight lifting, biking and boating. He enjoyed being at the lake, country living and vacationing in the Caribbean. Kevin lived an active lifestyle.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan of Spicer; two children, Tyler Anderson of Sauk Rapids and Brittney (and Anthony) Schwebach of Austell, GA., his mother, Jeanette Anderson of Pine River; one brother, Isaak (and Jen) Anderson of Pine River and one niece, Olivia, besides other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer “Dwight” in November of 2010.
