Larry Moore

October 23, 1964 — April 10, 2012

Larry Keith Moore, age 47, of Willmar, died Tuesday morning, April 10, at his residence in Willmar following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, April 13, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Larry was born on October 23, 1964, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the son of Alvin and Joy (Seybold) Moore. He grew up in Albuquerque and graduated from the Del Norte High School in 1982. After graduation, Larry worked road construction along side with his father until his death in 1983. He then worked installing fire suppression systems until his move to Minnesota in 1994. Since 2004, Larry has been employed with Magnum Trucking until January of 2011 when he became too ill to work.

Larry enjoyed driving his truck, camping, fishing, hunting and cooking. He always had a story to tell with lots of humor in it. Larry believed in taking care of others and was a very compassionate man. He had a generous heart and a great zest for life. Larry dearly loved his family.

He is survived by his wife, Pat of Willmar; his son, Evan Rounds of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two step-children, Ashlee Porter and Adam Zondervan, both of Willmar; and step-grandson, Luke Peterson. Also surviving is one brother, Deryl (and Jeannie) Moore of Albuquerque, New Mexico and three sisters, Donna (and Ralph) Daniel of Cloudcraft, New Mexico, Bonnie (and Rodney) Vance of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Connie (and Gary) Crowe of Pennock, besides other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Tracy Daniel.
