Larry Rohloff

Larry W. Rohloff, age 66, of Atwater, died Saturday morning, February 26, at Rice Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Atwater. Interment will be at Bethany Cemetery near Starbuck later this spring. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, at the Atwater Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

Larry Wayne Rohloff was born on January 2, 1945, on the family farm near Holloway, Minnesota, the son of Wayne W.G. and Vera G. (Stock) Rohloff. He grew up and received his education in the Morris community and began working on the family farm. On May 31, 1969, Larry was united in marriage to Lola Mae Rundquist. They lived and farmed in Fairfield Township, Swift County for a few years. They also lived in Morris, Kensington and in 1978, moved to Atwater. Larry was employed at Jennie-O Foods for over 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, car racing, yard work, watching "professional" wrestling and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Lola Mae of Atwater; three sons, Todd (and Renita) Rohloff of Kimball, Keith (and Amy) Rohloff of Askov and Troy (and Kim) Rohloff of Spicer and seven grandchildren, Tyler, Torey, Taeya, Michaela, Tiahna, Trenton and Konnor. Also surviving are his stepmother, Ardelle Rohloff of Morris; three brothers, Lanny (and Linda) Rohloff, Lowell (and Cindy) Rohloff and LuAlan (and Shawn) Rohloff, all of Morris and two sisters, Bonnie (and Greg) Weiler of Morris and Connie (and Steve) Berg of Bird Island, besides other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Lonnie Rohloff.
