Lavonne Madsen

Lavonne Lynn Madsen, age 41, of Willmar, died unexpectedly at her residence on Tuesday, November 24, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 27, at the Willmar Christian Reformed Church. Interment will be at Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home.

Lavonne Lynn Madsen was born on June 25, 1968, in Princeton, Minnesota, the daughter of Harry and Yvonne (Olson) Madsen. At the age of three, she moved with her family to the Willmar community where she grew up and received her education. Lavonne has been employed by the Kandiyohi County D.A.C. for over the past 20 years. She was also an active member of the Friendship Bible Study group at the Willmar Christian Reformed Church. Lavonne enjoyed reading, music, watching Gaither videos and being with her friends.

She is survived by her mother, Yvonne Madsen of Willmar; two sisters, Lynelle (and Jason) Mock of Sioux Falls, SD. and Lisa (and Hythem) Alsalem of Pennsylvania. Also surviving are two half brothers, Lonnie (and Debbie) Ostrom and Tim (and Darnell) Ostrom, both of Minneapolis, besides other relatives and friends.
