Leo Allen Prodoehl was bon on April 20, 1937, in Renville, Minnesota, the only child of Leo and Ellen (Port) Prodoehl. He grew up and received his education in Revillo, South Dakota. Following his schooling, Leo returned to work on the family farm. From 1961 to 1962, Leo served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged early due to his fathers death. He worked for a while as a diesel mechanic in the Twin Cities. On June 23, 1973, Leo was married to Lois Ann Gravley and they made their home in Wilson, Wisconsin and later moved to Menomonie, Wisconsin. In 2002, he retired from the automotive repair business and in 2011, they moved to Willmar. Since 2019, they have resided in Starbuck at Holly Ridge Assisted Living.
Leo and Lois were active members of their churches in the communities in which they lived. Since 2011, they have been members of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Willmar. His hobbies included reading, fishing, gardening and camping. Leo was a very patient and loving person. His faith in the Lord was simple but yet profound.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lois; one daughter, Mary (and Chad) Frey of Newton, Kansas and three grandchildren, Kinnick, Elizabeth and Naaman, besides other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
