Leslie G. Fenton Bolt, age 58, of Kerkhoven, died Sunday afternoon, March 10, at the Rice Care Center in Willmar.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. www.petersonbrothers.com
Leslie G. Fenton Bolt was born on June 1, 1954, in Litchfield, Minnesota, the daughter of Hugh and Virginia (Stevens) Fenton. She grew up in Litchfield and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She graduated from Litchfield High School in 1972 and then attended the Willmar Community College. In 1973, Leslie was united in marriage to Wayne Evenson and they lived in Litchfield, Park Rapids and Arizona. In 1993, Leslie was married to Jerry Bolt and they lived in North Carolina. In 2000, Leslie returned to live in Kerkhoven, Minnesota. She was employed at Darold's Super Value Foods in Benson. Her hobbies included reading and being an avid fan of NASCAR and the Minnesota Twins. She also cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Michael (and Jennifer) Evenson of Kerkhoven and Matthew (and Sarah) Evenson of Alexandria and six grandchildren, Kaia, Adrian, Kori, Moriah, Noah and Annah. Also surviving is her mother, Virginia Fenton of Litchfield; two siblings, Dynee (and Bill) Ness of Kerkhoven and Steve (and Tammy) Fenton of Litchfield and her beloved canine companion, Cody, besides other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh in 1993.
