Lisa Ann Hougen, age 58, of Willmar, died Tuesday morning, June 12, 1t the Olivia Healthcare Center.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, at the Fairview Cemetery in Willmar. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home. www.petersonbrothers.com
Lisa Ann Hougen was born on July 5, 1959, in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of William and Mary Ruth (Hanscom) Hougen and was raised by her grandparents, Elliott and Mildred Hanscom. She grew up in Willmar, was baptized and confirmed at Bethel Lutheran Church and attended the First Presbyterian Church. She was employed at Green Lake Nursery, Willmar Regional Treatment Center and Burlington Northern Railroad. She enjoyed birds, plants and animals, especially dogs and cats. She also enjoyed being outdoors, swimming and loved being in the sun.
She is survived by her friends, Kathy Schmiedeker and Deb Halverson and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; one sister, Pamela Ann Hougen; special friends, Steve Nelson and Larry Norton, and her cousin, Brenda.
