Lloyal Anderson

Lloyal Orvin Anderson, age 86, of Willmar, died Monday evening, December 19, at the Rice Care Center in Willmar. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 21, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Peterson officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Lloyal was born on May 3, 1920, in Willmar, Minnesota, the son of Albert and Cora (Schaub) Anderson. He grew up in Willmar and graduated from the Willmar High School in 1938. From 1940 to 1945, he worked as a fireman on the Burlington Northern Railroad. From 1945 to 1950, Lloyal was employed by M.W. "Huck" Bengtson as an automotive machinist and from 1950 to 1952, was employed by Joe Caine and Steve Caine as an automotive mechanic. He was a former member of the Willmar Flying Club. For the past 20 years, Lloyal has resided at the Island View Manor in Willmar.
He is survived by one brother, Vern (and Marge) Anderson of Jackson, MI.; two sisters, Marjorie (and Donald) Stephanson of Edina and Renae Olson of Minneapolis, besides other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother in infancy.
