Manuel G. Hernandez, age 55, of Willmar, died Monday afternoon, April 12, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 15, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Manuel was born on January 16, 1955, in Crystal City, Texas, the son of Felix and Inez (Guillen) Hernandez. He grew up and received his education in Texas. About 20 years ago, Manuel moved to Minnesota and has lived in Appleton and Willmar. He has been employed in agricultural field work.
He is survived by three brothers, Hipalito Hernandez of Milwaukee, WI., Albert Hernandez of Willmar and Armando Arias of San Antonio, TX.; and three sisters, Noela (and Guadalupe) Navarro of Willmar, Victoria Lopez of Milwaukee, WI., and Maggie Diaz of Lester Prairie, besides other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five sisters, Irene Acues, Antonia Orrozco, Juana Hernandez, Elicia Ramirez and Dora Abiles.
