Marjorie Eisenbacher

Marjorie A. Eisenbacher, age 76, of Olivia, formerly of Willmar, died Tuesday morning, Sept. 4th, at the Golden Living Center in Olivia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, September 7, 2012, at Church of St. Mary in Willmar. The interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church and there will be a Rosary said at 9:15 AM at the church. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Willmar Funeral Home.

Marjorie Ann Eisenbacher was born on December 15, 1935, on the family farm in Rosendale Township, Watonwan County, near St. James, Minnesota, the daughter of Florence Anne (Poss) and George Frank Eisenbacher. She grew up in that area and attended St. James Country School and later Parochial School in St. James. They moved to the Atwater area, (Lake Calhoun) in 1950 and she graduated from Atwater High School in 1953. Margie continued her education at St. Benedict's Convent in St. Joseph, Minnesota for four years. She moved to Chicago, worked as a Secretary at Loyola University until 1971. Because of health reasons, she moved back to Willmar in 1971 and in the mid 1970's started a crafting business in her home. She made home made greeting cards, paintings, drawings, painted wood crafts, crocheting and made afghans. She loved classical music, had a very strong faith and enjoyed praying for anyone who needed it. Margie moved to the Golden Living Center in Olivia in 2008, where she has resided since.

She is survived by two brothers; Roger (and Margaret) Eisenbacher of Davenport, Iowa and Earl Eisenbacher of St. Regis, Montana and three sisters; Lillian Windschitl of Comfrey, Rita Bidwell of Spicer and Agatha Frank of Glenwood. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, besides other relatives and friends.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers; Walter, Kenneth, Donald, Harold and Leonard Eisenbacher and three sisters; Arlene Eisenbacher, Marion Fordyce and Helen Eisenbacher.
