Marjorie Ruth Mueller, age 84, of Bloomington and formerly of Willmar, died Sunday evening, May 14, at the Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 18, at the Holy Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Bloomington with Rev. Dennis Starr officiating. Interment will be at Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home.
Marjorie was born on February 20, 1922, in Story City, Iowa, the daughter of Lars and Cora (Bennison) Risvold. She grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School. She was married to Alfred Mueller and they made their home in the Twin Cities area where Marjorie worked as a receptionist for the Metropolitan Transit Commission, retiring in 1984. Since 1992, she has resided at the Apple Valley Health Care Center. She was a member of Holy Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one brother, Harold Risvold of Minneapolis and several nieces and nephews, besides other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, Betty Hanson and Barbara Wall and one brother, Carlton "Don" Risvold.
