Mary Louise (Condon) Schorn was born on June 20, 1929, in Clara City, Minnesota, the daughter of William James and Margaret Susan (Schoen) Condon.  She was baptized at St. Clara's Catholic Church in Clara City and was confirmed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Raymond.  The family moved to the Raymond area and she completed her education, graduating in 1947, from Raymond High School.  On June 12, 1950, she was married to Jacob Eugene Schorn Jr. in Raymond and they made their home on a farm north of Raymond.  They lived on the farm until they moved into Willmar in November of 1990.  They also spent 10 years living in Texas in the winter.  They moved into the Copperleaf Senior Living Community in Willmar in 2010.
While they lived in Raymond Mary Lou was an active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a member and past president and treasurer of the Altar and Rosary Society, a religion teacher, a past president and treasurer of the Raymond American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the Raymond PTA.  After the closing of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church they became active members of St. Mary's and she was a member of the Daughters of Isabella.
She enjoyed gardening (especially her roses), dancing, being involved in the farm, refinishing antiques, ceramics, traveling, watching sports (especially the Twins) and anything Irish.  Mary Lou loved being with family and friends, especially attending their children's activities and sports in school.   They followed the sports teams in the area even after their kids had grown.
She is survived by her seven children; Elizabeth Schorn of Eagan, Patrick (and Sandy) Schorn of Browerville, Jeanne (and Joe) Marquardt of Lakeville, Daniel (and Annette) Schorn of Stuttgart, Germany, Cindy (and Butch) Ford of Fairbault, Sharon (and Mike) Bomstad of Willmar and Lisa (and Jeff) Thelen of Big Lake.  Also surviving are 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one sister, JoAnn Schmidt of Glencoe, and two brothers; Robert "Bob" Condon of New Richmond, WI, and Gene "Jiggs" (and Maxine) Condon of Mesa, AZ, besides other relatives and friends.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jake in 2014, and one sister, Peggy Horky.
