Michael Morris Roggeman was born February 12, 1951, in Echo Minnesota, the son of Carolyn Corhouse and Marvin Roggeman. In high school, he moved to Gansevoort, New York to live with his uncle, Buddy Corhouse. This is where he learned his trade as an electrician. He attended South Glens Falls High School where he became a two-time state-wrestling champion and graduated in 1971.
In 1973, Mike moved back to Minnesota where he met Cindy Munchberg and they married on October 5, 1974. They made their initial home in Tintah, Minnesota, where they were blessed with 5 children, Dawn, Jessie, Danner, Michael and Cindy’s brother Bill. This is where he started his business M.R. Electric and earned the name “Sparky”. In 1984, they moved to Clinton, where they spent 2 years before moving to their farm in Kerkhoven. This is where they made Circle 7 Ranch, grew their horse business and Mike’s electrical business. In 2016, Mike built his retirement home on Games Lake where he continued his business until ill health forced his retirement.
Mike loved many things, but he loved his family the most. He loved to watch his kids and grandkids play their sports, have them over for sleepovers, take them out for ice cream and most of all snuggle. He also loved to play cards at the Legion with his buddies, in tournaments, or with family and friends. He had a love of horses, riding and showing.
