Nancy Dahline

Nancy Dahline, age 72, of Willmar passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Carris Health - Rice Memorial Hospital due to the Covid virus.  Per Nancy's request, a private graveside service will be held at a later date at Tripolis Lutheran Cemetery, rural Kandiyohi, MN.   Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home.  www.petersonbrothers.com

Nancy Gail Dahline was born March 23, 1948, in Willmar to Lloyd B. and Louis E. (Blinn)  Stromert.  She was baptized and confirmed at the First Presbyterian Church in Willmar.   She graduated from Willmar High School in 1966.  Nancy was  married to David Dahline on June 9, 1966.  They had two children, Paula and Chad.

Nancy worked as a relief rural mail carrier for 13 years and at Rice Hospital as a messenger for 10 years.  For a time she served as the Rural Carrier County Secretary/Treasurer, Secretary/Treasurer of her bowling league, and currently was Secretary to the Fairview Cemetery Board.

Nancy is survived by  daughter Paula (Dan) Emberland of Willmar, their daughters  Amanda (Brett), and Emily, both of Brainerd; and  her son Chad (Denise) of Henderson, NV and their daughter Jordan (Steven) of Fernley, NV; one  great granddaughter Maisie;  the Dahline family; aunt Inge Stromert of WA, as well as many cousins  and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father Lloyd in 1970, her husband Dave in 1990, her mother Louise in 2012, her brother Bruce in 2017, and her mother and father-in-law  Cliff and Grayce Dahline.
